Created to make a striking first impression at the Dezeen Design Awards 2024, this large-scale installation features over 12,000 pieces of a paper-like non-woven material – a unique blend of cellulose, polyester, and fiberglass – sustainably manufactured in the suburbs of Paris.
As project manager, I delivered the installation at the architecturally protected Hackney Church, coordinating a 20-person crew under strict site constraints and overseeing production, risk assessments, budgets and timelines while liaising with designers, fabricators and suppliers to adapt the vision to complex conditions.
